Nicola Bombacci (24 October 1879 – 28 April 1945) was an Italian politician, trade unionist, fascist journalist, and teacher. He was a leading member of the Italian Socialist Party (PSI), one of the founders of the Communist Party of Italy in 1921 and later became a supporter of fascism after his expulsion from the communist movement. During the Italian Social Republic, Bombacci collaborated with Benito Mussolini and played a major role in promoting the idea of fascist "socialization". He was captured by Italian partisans at Dongo and executed on 28 April 1945.[1]
