Being and Time (German: Sein und Zeit) is a book by the fascist and existentialist philosopher Martin Heidegger. In it, Heidegger takes a reactionary viewpoint regarding philosophy, arguing that all post-socratic (classical bourgeois) philosophy has been a distraction from the most important question of philosophy, that being the reality of the act of existing, or "being." Heidegger puts forward that individuals should ultimately live by their own "Dasein", that being the inseparable relation between object and subject[1]
Influences
Being and Time has had a major influence in bourgeois and reactionary philosophy, more specifically on social-fascist ideology as written by Aleksandr Dugin and put into practice by groups such as the National Bolshevik Party and the American Communist Party[2]
