The third edition cover of Settlers

Settlers: The Mythology of the White Proletariat, sometimes subtitled as The True Story of the White Nation, is a 1983 book released pseudonymously by J. Sakai. In it, Sakai argues that the proletariat of the United States consist of the oppressed national minorities within it, and that the white "proletarians" are, instead, a form of labor aristocracy. Settlers is considered a central text in third worldist Maoism, but its reach extends further to other tendencies such as Marxism-Leninism.
