This is a list of common acronyms and initialisms used within the Marxist community.

An acronym with an 's' appended on it, such as MLs refers to people with that ideology.

MOP	Means of Production
MZT	Mao Zedong Thought
PRC	People's Republic of China
SocDem	Social Democracy
USSR	Union of Soviet Socialist Republics
DotP	Dictatorship of the Proletariat
PatSoc	Patriotic Socialism^{[note 1]}

↑ The term "PatSoc" almost always refers to the "Patriotic Socialists" in the United States of America exclusively
