The Revolutionary Communist Group (RCG) is a Communist political party in the United Kingdom.
Political positions[edit | edit source]
The RCG is of Trotskyist origins, but currently takes stances more typical of Marxist-Leninists, such as defending the Soviet Union. They consider themselves as Marxists and Leninists.
The RCG believes Deng Xiaoping restored capitalism in China, and is sceptical of China's socialist market economy as a method of building socialism (though it supports it).[1] However, it considers Cuba to be a legitimate socialist experiment.
